My name is Darryl Russell McGee II. I was born in Chicago, Illinois, on July 9th, 2002. Since my early childhood, I have had a passion for art, and so, as a student at Northern Illinois University, I have majored in Art & Design for three years. However, during my first two years as a student, I wanted to major in Music Education, for I grew more interested in music than art in my senior year of high school. Because I did not have enough experience to qualify for the School of Music, studying at the School of Art and Design was my only other option. So, after I graduate, I plan on finding a career in teaching at least music theory since music theory has been my strong suit and inspiration since my freshman year in high school when taking guitar class.
