Artist Statement
“Over the course of my artistic journey, I have been drawn to creating work that is both shocking and fun. Art that demands attention while inviting deeper thought. Influenced by my love of extreme music and film, my illustrations and prints often carry political and horror undertones. As an active guitar player, the music and lyrics I write naturally align with my visual art, reinforcing the themes and energy I explore. My time at Northern Illinois University, as a BS Art Major, has refined my technical skills and expanded my creative range, pushing me to explore new methods and mediums. Pairing this with a minor in Marketing was a great addition to my education and understanding. Beyond college, I plan to keep evolving as an artist, continuously learning and pushing boundaries while creating work that leaves a lasting impression.”
