“Wet Pliers” serves to exemplify the beauty in the dichotomy of control vs. intuition. Less important is the distinction of which aspects of the work represent each category; more important is the notion that in my own practice, neither category can be diminished. Control speaks to the beauty of reality; intuition speaks to the beauty of the soul. Together, revealed, is a beauty unto its own.
