Artist Statement:
“ I realized at a young age that I liked to create, whether that be drawings, stories, or another thing . I randomly decided on at the moment. I made the choice to pursue art and as a current senior at NIU I am getting closer and closer to my goals. I want to use my art as an outlet for the stories I want to continue to tell as well as a form of escapism. My artworks are inspired by a wide range of art and artists from book covers or other forms of media that I admired growing up and I aspire to have my art do the same for someone else in the future”
