The exhibition, “OV is the Center of Love” examines the interjection of the artist’s angry alter ego, OV, into Doug’s older works of art but also into a variety of social/political environments. Growth in technique and personal expression as part of Doug’s “Art” journey is conveyed through various paintings and prints. Common among this work is a sense of urgency, frustration, and absurdity of our existence.
