I cherish the complexity of existence but continually struggle to process my experience through words alone. Thus, I’ve turned to abstraction as a space to ponder without the tethers of language. I work from my contemplative internal dialogue, finding ways to translate the emotional undercurrents of everyday life into abstract figures. Through the utilization of diverse materials, I allow my hands a crucial role in the process of exploring and interpreting. Trusting in both touch and thought helps me respond to emotional complexity with both serious reflection and playful intuition. These depictions beckon for a moment of facing the ambiguity of the human experience, creating a space to ponder without quite knowing what it means or where it leads.
