Growing up in Galicia, Spain, my mother imparted in me the skills that laid the foundation for my artistic pursuits. Textiles offer me a profound sense of home.  Yet, adulthood unfolded as a semi-nomadic existence—constant travel, relocation, and an ongoing process of acclimation. My work mirrors a life steeped in tradition and restlessness, a delicate balance between roots and constant movement. 

Process is the heartbeat of my artistry. Time invested, discoveries made, and mistakes embraced propel me into uncharted territories. Materials, always a mystery, become my muse. My mantra is rooted in what comes to me and what I forage, igniting the spark of inspiration.

Returning to academia in pursuit of a Master's in Studio Art degree has injected new life into my art. I am captivated by the interplay between hard and soft materials, a fascination that fuels my ongoing exploration.
